Melanie's book is a very transparent and honest work flowing from her devotion to Jesus Christ. She offers practical advice for Godly wives repeatedly directing the reader to God's Word for guidance and purpose for marriage. My experience in leading a group of 25 women in this study has been one of my best experiences in group study. We were blessed by the author's own experiences that parallelled our own which allowed us to see ourselves in the pages. The discussion questions provided for each chapter encouraged open and honest discussion all the while directing us to Scripture and challenging us to strive for holiness. Whether you are seeking restoration for a wounded marriage or just desire a closer walk with Christ, this is the book for you. Thank you, Melanie, for offering your gifts to God initiating healing through the power of His Word and the power of your honest testimony!

This book is an absolute read for those already married ladies or those engaged to be married and desiring a Godly relationship with her husband. I could not put this book down and would recommend it for all women (married or not). I desire a marriage in which I am the wife that God intended for my husband. This book will be a wonderful companion to the Word of God throughout my marriage.

Even though this book is written by a woman it gives great insight into how the things that women say to their husbands can have a good or bad effect on them. I have read many books on the woman's role in marriage, but this one gives good real life stories and suggestions and ways to begin changing your ways and ways of thinking to truly become the wife God intended you to be.
