5.0 out of 5 stars A Solid Follow-Up December 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Heather Gean-Echols' debut Amazon novel took a hard and clinical look at a world where the government chooses your spouse for you. In her follow-up, she's changed the game, ensuring that she's not just another one-note self-published author. What It Feels like to be a Ghost is a fast-paced novel with a smart protagonist fighting to maintain the identity that she's created, while battling the demons she's tried so hard to flee. It has all the pieces that make up a great story: murder, scandal, and one particular scene which will forever change the way that you look at a piano. Echols has really fleshed out her characters and refined her writing. So if you're looking for a good winter day read, look no further. This one's pretty damn good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good book January 6, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I thought this was a very good story about a girl doing something that I am sure we wish we could all do once in a while. Escaping the "real" world only to find out that home will always be home and people will always care about you.
