More About the Author

Jen Naumann grew up in southern Minnesota as an addict of such flicks as Indiana Jones and The Goonies until she discovered John Hughes, and spent her high school days locked away writing love stories with a sci-fi twist. Married to a farmer in southern Minnesota, she tries to follow the madness of her four active children while balancing an imagination that never shuts down. Without reservation, I heartily recommend this book. This story was fantastic from beginning to end. Really breathtaking. The conflicts that the main character, Lily, deals with each day of her new life, choosing between good and evil, is something that we can all relate to. She is forced to make decisions that no teenager should have to make, and does them with such poise and strength that I can do nothing but admire her. The way the author draws you in emotionally with each character and each twist and turn is absolutely amazing. Once you start to read this book, it is difficult to put down. I will definitely be looking for more books that Jen Naumann writes. Brilliant author!!

I couldn't put it down! Each page left me wondering what would happen next. I don't even know how to start explaining the plot without giving away some of the surprises. The author did a wonderful job of showing that making a choice between good and evil isn't as easy as we think. This is definitely a book that I will recommend to my friends.

Excellant book. Fast read, clean. Any age can read it. From the moment I read the first page to the end, I had a hard time putting it down & could not wait until I had the chance to continue reading again. The journey Rose & Lily go on is riveting, I couldn't wait to see how their lives would turn out. When/if they would catch a break. As the author describes people, sites, smells, It is picture perfect. I could imagine to the fullest what it must have been like. As if I was actually there. "What I've Done" is really a great read. Well Worth your time.

"What Ive Done" by Jen Naumann was by far the best book I have read in quite sometime, even better than the Hunger Games Trilogy! The story line was superb; is very comprehendable, and an easy read. I could not wait to turn the page to see what was going to happen next. I found myself trying to read with one eye open some nights while fighting to not fall asleep~~ I just COULDN'T put it down. From tragedies to love stories, this book got my emotions flowing! Definitely recommend this to all readers. Can't wait to read Naumann's next!

I was very impressed with this book. For her first novel Jen Naumann does an excellent job of making you "see" and feel like you know these characters. I had a hard time putting this book down because I wanted to know what happened next. I didn't care for the ending, as I would like to know what happens next. I'm hoping that she writes a sequel to this book sometime in the very near future. I look forward to reading more books by this "new" author.

Lily Rossow sure doesn't have a picture perfect life. In fact it's very far from it. Her father passed away some years ago and her mother is so far removed from providing the love and care that Lily and her sister Rose need. Lily and Rose have been part of and witnessed some pretty horrible things in their lives. Out of the blue one day their mother informs them that they are leaving their home and moving to California. But things don't go so well on the trip and Lily and Rose's life becomes much more complicated.

It's in California that two gorgeous strangers enter Lily's life. Gabe and Eli both enter the picture at different times but they both appear when the sisters are vulnerable and in need. Their friendship and presence fill voids for Lily at a time when she is dealing with so much.

While the paranormal element is somewhat eluded to, it's still a fair way into the book when the full extent of it is revealed. And that's when the true battle between good and evil begins. And sometimes it can take a while to realize just exactly what and who is the evil and even longer to understand why!!

I really enjoyed Jen Naumann's writing style. I loved her development of the characters. And I loved the paranormal aspect of the story. It's definitely been left at a point where the story can be added to and I really hope that we see at least one more book to round everything out for us. Overall What I've Done is a really solid and enjoyable read!!

This was another one of those books we could not put down. The author does an amazing job drawing the reader in. Each character is so well developed. And as you discover the secret, which we cannot reveal, we guarantee your jaw will hit the floor. This book has everything, and will spark every emotion from the reader, from sadness to fear to love. By the way, did we mention this book is also equipped with two very hot guys: Gabe and Eli. Trust us, this book is a must read.
