I really do Love Linkin Park. I have for some time now. I downloaded some of their music because I liked it. However I did notice something interesting that came out of it as well. My 8 year old son who is the "cool class clown who dresses cool" at school began to ask me to play specific tracks of music from them. I had several that I had downloaded and he always knew the names of the ones he wanted. I was happy and sad at the same time because I could see that my 8 year old who still crawls in my lap and calls me mommy when he is upset is also on the verge of growing up and away from me. He has actually asked me to take him to a Linkin Park concert and a Ozzy Osbourne one as well. I told him maybe when he is older. Luckily we live right outside of Austin, Texas and with all of the the liberal moms and dads there the concerts always have at least 10 parents walking around with their children under the age of 10. I guess we will see. These guys do put out a great sound. I love the talking in the music while the other guys is singing. I love music that has a lot of variety as far as sound and singing in the songs. Linkin Park definately delivers the goods on that part. The only bad thing is they play a lot of music that is filled with teenage angst. Which once again is probably a very good thing because I know when I was a teenage girl and "no one understood me" at least the musicians making the songs seemed to and they would soothe my soul and make me feel less alone. Parents should consider this aspect before they bann all music with kids singing about depressing subjects. Sometimes feeling like there are other people out there just like you is enough to keep you from falling into a deep hole that is hard to climb out of. irishbookfairy
