A very helpful tool,
This review is from: What Kids Need Most in a Dad (Paperback)
Recently I was asked by an expecting father to be, if I would spend some time with him. He commented on my parenting skills and some of the insecurities he was experiencing and wanted advice from an experienced father. I laughed and shared with him that I went through the same anxieties.Afterward I began to ponder what it is that I might share with him. I reflected on some of the books I had read at the time (now some 22years ago). I found Tim Hansels book "What kids need most in a Dad" and started to re-read some of the highlighted notes that I had made. In retrospect I can see how the truth and facts of parenting that Tim makes tangible and clear helped to develop the parenting skills that I came to use with my family. This is a must read for any Dad, new young or looking at the grandfathering years. Good solid common sense advice that is encouraging, challenging and uplifting.
