A very helpful tool,

Recently I was asked by an expecting father to be, if I would spend some time with him. He commented on my parenting skills and some of the insecurities he was experiencing and wanted advice from an experienced father. I laughed and shared with him that I went through the same anxieties.
Afterward I began to ponder what it is that I might share with him. I reflected on some of the books I had read at the time (now some 22years ago). I found Tim Hansels book "What kids need most in a Dad" and started to re-read some of the highlighted notes that I had made. In retrospect I can see how the truth and facts of parenting that Tim makes tangible and clear helped to develop the parenting skills that I came to use with my family. This is a must read for any Dad, new young or looking at the grandfathering years. Good solid common sense advice that is encouraging, challenging and uplifting.

Easy reading, encouraging advice for Dad's everywhere. Thought provoking. If you Like Tim Hansel, you'll like this book.
