5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellant Insight to Cultural Differences, September 18, 2004
By
Laklak (Boston, MA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: What I Learned in America Part 1: What Do Americans Know and When Are They Going to Know It? Part 2 (Paperback)
This book highlights the triumphs of a man trying to adapt to a new cultural settings with his own challenges. Mr. Mortazavi writes this book not to paint himself as a hero, but to express thanks to those who've helped him adapt to the American cultural and he humorously tells of the lingustic and cultural mistakes that he made along the way. This book is can be appreciated by those who grew up with different backgrounds as well as Americans who want a better understanding of people with different backgrounds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining and smart!, July 8, 2008
This review is from: What I Learned in America Part 1: What Do Americans Know and When Are They Going to Know It? Part 2 (Paperback)
This book is written by a blind man but while reading it you will not believe that a blind can see better than most of us do. It is a great book, I enjoyed it a lot.
