Great Stallbusting Principles and Examples,
By Donald Mitchell "Jesus Loves You!" (Thanks for Providing My Reviews over 109,000 Helpful Votes Globally) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (TOP 100 REVIEWER)
This review is from: What I Learned on the Way to the Top: By Zig Ziglar (Hardcover)
This book has a wonderful way of teaching important life lessons. It begins with a familiar quote from the Scriptures. Then another quote (either from Zig Ziglar or someone else) expands on the Scriptural reference to make an everyday application. Third, there is a page-long story that exemplifies both principles. Some of the stories are from Zig Ziglar's own life, and others are ones that have touched him. This multilevel approach is very helpful in deepening your appreciation of the concepts involved.Basically, Mr. Ziglar takes direct aim at the purposelessness, procrastination, defensiveness, misconception, Ugly Duckling, tradition, and bureaucratic stalls. He feels that these stalls are the most harmful to the quality of personal life and progress. The key principle behind all this is to improve how you relate to others and how they will relate to you . . . seeing the essence of the good life in better relationships. Think of this as the Golden Rule. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Mr. Ziglar places a great and appropriate emphasis on family, love, friendship, humility, perseverance, service, optimism, dedication, and inspiration. This is a heart-warming book that will help you smell the roses, even in the midst of what look like daunting circumstances. As Mr. Ziglar points out, it doesn't matter where you start from . . . just where you end up. Overcome the stalls that steal your potential joy and value in your life! Donald Mitchell

A Worthwhile Read,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: What I Learned on the Way to the Top: By Zig Ziglar (Hardcover)
Inspiring, motivating, and knowledge-building. If you like easy to read, easy to take to heart, and all the while challenging to the mind and soul, then this is a good read. You'll find yourself going back to it again and again for reference.
There is also a big spiritual element to this work as Ziglar pulls from the learning and wisdom of Scripture. In a nutshell--classic Zig Ziglar. Kelly Libatique, author of Divine Knowledge Transfer and A Toast to the Holy Ghost?
