After having her purse stolen upon arrival in Rome, sous chef Tiffany Matthews never thought the handsome man she saw on the flight over would come to her rescue.

Dominick "Nick" Rollins is strictly a "business is business and pleasure is pleasure" type of guy that never mixes the two; that is until he meets Tiffany, who also ends up working in one of his restaurants.

With great mouth watering meals prepared by Tiffanny and a "didn't-see-that-coming" surprise involving Nick's former girlfriend and Tiffany's father, Zuri Day has provided us with another great read AGAIN.

3.0 out of 5 stars Food and Lovers, October 10, 2010
Chef Tiffany, who's in Paris for a month internship at a three star resturant is rescued by hotel owner Nick when her purse is stolen. There's an attraction but before they can act upon it, Nick is summoned back to the states and Tiffany stays to improve her culinary skills. When she returns to L.A. she becomes Nicks employee and there's heat in the kitchen as well as the office. Nick is very attracted to Tiffany and tries to build her trust so they may start a life and family together but Tiffany suffers from past heartbreak and cannot allow him into her heart.
I was so excited to read this story because I've loved all of Zuri's previous books and thought I found an author who created secure women; the premise of this story was good and the secondary characters were well written, supportive and entertaining but this book was too long to deal with a spoiled brat judging every man based on her father's actions and stomping off when everything didn't go her way. It just became so tiring but I did like getting to know Tiffany's father along with her and wouldn't have minded seeing more of that relationship develop or him with his own story.

5.0 out of 5 stars ANOTHER GREAT ONE!!!!, December 1, 2010
By
This review is from: What Love Tastes Like (Paperback)
Body By Night was the first book I read by Zuri Day. The book was superb. Since reading this book I wanted to find other books that Day had written. "What Love Taste Like" was so captivating from beginning to end. If I say it once. I'll say it twice. I love, love, love books that allow you to step into the world of nonfiction as if it was reality. The characters and emotions actually reminded you of people that you actually know. The one thing that I enjoy most about Day's choice of female main characters is that they do remind you of your girlfriend, sister, or cousin. They are not "HollyPlasticWood" people. The sistah's have figures in one way or all ways!!(okay) and they are still being pursued by a man with decency, integrity, and sometimes money. You don't have to be a ten to win the man of your dreams. Love Bliss!!! Her writing style is impeccable. As the song says "I'm on to the Next". I won't stop until I read everything by Z.D.!!

I really loved this book. The plot was fantastic, and so different from everything else out there. The storyline was well developed, and had many twist and turns which made me not want to stop reading until I got to the last page! I wish Zuri Day had all of her books on Kindle so I can continue reading them. She has definitely found a new fan in me!

5.0 out of 5 stars Taste Gets You Every Time!!!, September 7, 2010
This review is from: What Love Tastes Like (Paperback)
Zuri Day Does it again- here is another great story. At first Tiffany annoyed me - I thought she was too weak and sensitive, but then I truly do understand - the impact of a daughter and absentee dad... The romance in this story is real and Dominick has post of patience for Tiffany. I also REALLY enjoyed Joy - the BFF of Tiffany - she really made the book come alive!
THIS TIME the villaness in the story is good and devious too! Have fun reading and eat good food too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Taste is the Way to Go!!!, September 20, 2010
This review is from: What Love Tastes Like (Paperback)
Ms Zuri, you were on Point! Had to read the latest in one day because I hated to put it down. Loved Tiffany and Nick's love story but Grand and Joy Parsons were top notch. Kept stealing the show but were needed to keep Tiffany on point. Hope we can visit them again. Agreed with the other reviewers. You have a way of throwing characters, plot, and locale in a mix that pulls the reader in. Saw you at the RSJ cruise. You are a JOY and positive spirit!!! Hope the next book will come real soon. Thanks for sharing the Zuri Day's talent. Mary

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Romantic Read!, September 12, 2010
This review is from: What Love Tastes Like (Paperback)
This book was a great combination of two things that I love a lot, food and romance.

Zuri Day created a wonderful love story around Tiffany's love of food.
Once Tiffany sees Nick on the plane to Rome, the attraction is instant and mutual. Their passionate encounter in Rome makes for an interesting return to the U.S. Romance fills the air as Tiffany begins her 1st job at one of Nick's restaurant. Tiffany and Nick butt heads on numerous occasions, but the chase is on as Nick takes charge and declares his love for Tiffany.

A few bumps along the way create a great story to the end.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a 4.5 GOOOOOOD Book!, April 13, 2011
This review is from: What Love Tastes Like (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book it is so good. Nick is a great hero but sometimes Tiffany the heroine is childish. The best friend Joy is hilarious! The love scenes are "hot & steamy." The story plot is somewhat predictable but enjoyable. I recommend this read.

5.0 out of 5 stars What tastes like love was a good read, October 20, 2010
This review is from: What Love Tastes Like (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book immensely Miss Day certainly has a way with words and a very descriptive way of writing. Although at times I did not like some of the terminology used it did not diminish the book in anyway. I hope that you will add this book to you list of to-read and make sure to read it. You may need a fan or a cool drink for the love scenes.
