A great resource,
By Kurt A. Johnson (North-Central Illinois, USA) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (TOP 100 REVIEWER) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: What Do Lutherans Believe? (Paperback)
This book, originally written in 1968, is an in-depth look at Lutheran theology. Taken step-by-step, and supported by numerous Bible verses, the eleven chapters give the reader a well-grounded understanding about what Lutherans believe. As an added bonus the book has seven appendices, that cover the Lutheran liturgy, Church symbols, the lives of Jesus Christ, the apostle Paul and Martin Luther, plus other subjects.Overall I found this to be a great resource on the Lutheran faith. If you are interested in reading a solid, deeply informed treatise on Lutheranism, then I highly recommend that you get this book. |
