What Night Do The Angels Wander,
By A Customer
This review is from: What Night Do the Angels Wander? (Hardcover)
This story is a wonderful multi-cultural depiction of what goes on behind the scenes on Christmas Eve. It is full of angels in big, red dresses which draw the reader into the book. The verse and pictures make this a delight for children of all ages. I highly recommend this and Phoebe Stone's other stories to everyone who enjoys well written children's books with equally well done artwork.

A Christmas without Jesus?,
By Mom of 4 (West Virginia, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: What Night Do the Angels Wander? (Hardcover)
The artwork in this book is absolutely stunning. The message is warm and fuzzy. The angels feed the animals, sew a quilt of snow, trim a Christmas tree, and call all the deer to circle around it. They even bake cookies, skate around the sky, and play music. It's an interesting book of clever rhyme, worded for about ages 4-8, but if you are looking for a "Christian" Christmas story, this is not it. I was disappointed to find that not once in this "religious" book is the true reason for Christmas mentioned. Not once is Jesus mentioned, or even God for that matter. Unfortunately, according to this book, Christmas is all about the angels.
