Sibling Comfort,
By Mary T (Singapore) - See all my reviews
This review is from: What the No-good Baby is Good For (Hardcover)
John has decided that his baby sister just isn't good for anything, and it's time for her to go. The funny, gentle dialogue that follows between John and his mother explores just what this baby is and isn't good for - and will be very comforting to older siblings who are experiencing John's frustration. I gave this to my friend's four year old when his younger sister started to crawl, and it was a big hit. (I wish it had been around when my kids were little!)

Not What I expected!,
This review is from: What the No-good Baby is Good For (Hardcover)
This book is not what I had in mind when purchasing! I really wanted a book to help encourage my nephew to cherish the good things about his little sister. The only good things "John" finds about his sister in this book are actually horrible behaviors that you would not want out of your child. Also, I was expecting "John" to like his new sister at the end of the book, but he still wants her to go away at the end. (which she does by the way, the mom ships her off to grandma's for a day) All in all, a huge waste of money. I was very disappointed!
