This review is from: What If Nobody Forgave and Other Stories (Paperback)
"What if Nobody Forgave?" is an excellent resource for Unitarian Universalist parents and religious educators. The book provides several stories to illustrate each of the Seven Principles, followed by discussion questions and activity ideas to further explore each story. This diverse collection ranges from folksy ("What if Nobody Forgave?") to historic ("Susan Goes to Work," about Susan B. Anthony) to memoir ("Brown Shoes") to tall tale ("The Day the Turkey Walked"). These stories are an entertaining, accessible way for parents and teachers to open discussions about complex subjects such as racism, death and dogmatism, as well as virtues such as compassion, courage and gratitude. Beginners will also appreciate McDonald's preface with tips on how to be a good storyteller.
