This is a great introduction to stewardship as a way of life. The followon book, "Stewardship in America A countercultural Way of Life", goes another level deeper.

Only disappointment is that it did not come with the DVD of archbishop's Murphy's talk that other people's books had.

This book, from a paper by a Catholic archbishop, lays out all facets and implications of God's call to be his stewards. It is absolutely beautiful, and the best source I have found in my literature survey before planning this year's stewardship emphasis for my United Methodist church. We wanted a resource for small groups to study. Mostly books on stewardship lay out the spiritual basis for giving back to God and then move into mechanics of a finance campaign. This book is so deep and the reflecttion questions will provoke great discussions. From those discussions growth will come. We have found that growth in the individual results in growth in monetary giving as well as other areas of life.

There is some Catholic terminology but we will just explain that!

Simple book on stewardship and easy to read. It makes for a great gift. I gave a copy to those in our RCIA.

Excellent presentation that gives anyone a basic understanding of stewardship as a way of life. Great resource for stewardship committees or parish councils.
