A great introduction for kids to Passover,
By
This review is from: What Is Passover? (Lift-The-Flap Story) (Paperback)
This book is recommended for children ages 3-7. The story covers a family preparations and celebration of Passover. The mother talks about the plagues on the land of Egypt culminating in the night of Passover when Jewish first-born children were protected and the subsequent flight of the Jews from Egypt. There is a great discription of the seder and the significance of matzo. Each page has a flap that allows for curious children to see something special involved with the Holiday of Passover. This is a nice and bright book for young curious minds.

This simple book, with charming illustrations, will appeal to those who read and those who are read to. It shows the holiday basics in the warm and traditional spirit in which many families aim to present them.
