2010 release, the fourth album from the Florida-based Melodic Hardcore band. The album was produced by New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert, who also manned the boards on their last effort Homesick.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keep on getting better! March 18, 2012
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is the band's most recent album, and it shows. Pretty much everything they've been doing from the get go, just better. No serious deviations in style, but continuing to perfect their craft. That being said, if you're not a fan of any of their previous work, it's rather doubtful you'll find anything you like here either.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yep November 7, 2012
Format:Audio CD
easily one of my favorite cds in the last 5 years. A great mix of vocals and heavy screaming. been wanting to see them live, but never in the same place i am. ADTR is going in the right steps to becoming a house hold name, no they arent "sell outs." they are just maturing and become sucessful which is half of the battle in the music industry. I cant wait for their next cd, i can only hope for continous great things!

2.0 out of 5 stars Jumped The Shark November 17, 2010
Format:Audio CD
Let's get this out on the table first: if you like harder "pop-rock" then this cd is definitely going to be for you. ADTR will always make good music because they are extremely talented, have great vocals and play their instruments better than most bands out there right now. The songs are catchy, there are some decent hooks, etc. If you blindly stuck your hand into a bin full of this kind of music and this is what you found, you would rave to your friends at the gem you discovered.

However...if you are a fan of ADTR and have their back catalog then this cd sorely disappoints. This was easily my most anticipated album of 2010 and I sat with my mouth agape at how far they jumped the shark to mainstream. Sure, Sticks and Bricks is great and is about as close as they come to the Treason/Homesick sound, but the rest of it is local rock station radio music that gets lost with the other bands who all sound the same. ADTR was so appealing because they did what very few bands of their genre could: they appealed to a wider audience because they played real, well-written, deep music. Even if you didn't like the screams you appreciated how they fit into the songs and even if you didn't appreciate the catchy-ness of the hooks you knew they worked. With this album, they went with the money and didn't stay true to themselves, and it shows.

I gave it a couple good listens and just can't get behind it. I'll keep a few of the tracks and go on with my life searching for another band that can replace them in my life.
