The book gives excellent ideas of how to pass the time. We got this for a young Grand Son who just got a Kindle for Christmas. It give all the kids good ideas for fun together. Good to see all ages having family fun.

This more suited to someone with small children and someone who is new to keeping them busy. I didn't find any ideas that fit my family

5.0 out of 5 stars Away from TV and playstation November 13, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Kids should play more away from electronic gadgets, this is the ideal starting point. The kids will learn to use some imagination. Mostly for younger kids.

3.0 out of 5 stars kinda outdated,,,but not bad April 11, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is pretty good, however the games inside are what the label tells you, pastimes. I found it interesting since I played some of these games as a child, but the kids today probably wont find it as interesting, ,, , , , no batteries,,,,

I accidentally got this, now can't get rid of it. Good thing it's free. It provides no new info and is poorly laid out.

3.0 out of 5 stars it is interesting - mostly good advise February 5, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Oh how times have changed. this was written from a secular poing of view but has many Christian values - not all. I Idealy kids entire function in life is to learn to be productive adults and as such should be rasied this way. Less play and more constructive work ethic and we may see the older values. possible too late for that now.
