5.0 out of 5 stars full of helpful ideas, June 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: What Stimulation Your Baby Needs to Become Smart: A Program of Ideas Based on Current Research Findings on the Neurological Development of Infants : Birth Through 7 Months: 1 (Paperback)
I'm surprised this book hasn't been picked up by a major publisher. It's simple, well-organized, full of useful ideas, and based on Staso's many years of experience in child development and his knowledge of the most recent research. I recommend it to any new parent.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid scientific basis for stimulating your child, May 3, 2000
By

While I think Dr. Stasso could have combined his 2 baby books into 1 all inclusive unit, this is the most scientifically based book I've found on the topic. There are no gimmics or sure fixes described, just plain, common sense ways to show your child simple concepts that provide a solid foundation for learning. Plus, I love the way he trounces expensive "developmental" toys!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Information, April 22, 2002
By A Customer
This book is fantastic. It tells you what you should be doing for your baby pretty succinctly. Not a bunch of fluff. And, it has information on the studies that is interesting. Great book.
