Go Emma!,

I absolutely love this song. It's the best single from her so far. It has the video on it too. So you can listen and watch. The video was exactly the way I imagine it. Dirt road, waiting for someone to show up and she looks beautiful. Also has two songs that are not on the album. It's a good packaged single. Definetly, get it.

Emma Bunton is EVEN cooler than I expected, and this single just says it all (or at least ALMOST; Take My Breath Away is the best song she's done!) But this was a great single to introduce the real Emma to the world. The video is pretty and at the same time wicked (in a GOOD sense, of course! {Mel C. ALWAYS SAYS WICKED [hee hee hee]}) And the B-sides....RULE! I can't even pick a favourite. They're just fun and happy and are guarenteed to get you into a good mood, and are highly danceable. This is a highly reccomended single, and I ALSO highly reccomend the album...--Your collection just isn't complete without it! BYE BYE!! ("BUY BUY" this album. [GOD! THAT WAS CORNY!]

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING OPENING SINGLE...,

"What Took You So Long" is an amazing song and the first solo single (not counting the "What I Am" collaboration with Tin Tin Out) by Baby Spice Emma Bunton. The song itself differs greatly from what you might expect from a Spice Girl (not that the Spice Girls don't make good music, I think their music is great). "What Took You So Long" is very guitarry and is spiced a little bit by country sound. The other two tracks on the single are great. Let's have a synopsis on the single, shall we?1) WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG (RADIO EDIT)- Very guittary country type of song with great vocals by Emma. This song is sure to hit #1 on the radio. Great sound and soft vocals put the finishing touches to it. 2) (HEY YOU) FREE UP YOUR MIND- This song isn't new (Emma performed this song back in 1999 for the Pokemon II soundtrack). It's got a slight guitar sound to it as well as a pop beat. Emma's vocals are pretty good. 3) MERRY GO ROUND- This song is the B-Side to this single and is pure pop. There is no other sound out there to describe this song. It's not a particularly good song, but it's a fun song with a childish poppy sound. 4) WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG (ENHANCED VIDEO)- The video for this single is pretty good. It was filmed in the Mojave Desert in California, USA. In the video, Emma is in a sexy yellow dress and sings as she gyrates up against a wooden fence. She is also seen petting wolves by a fire, laughing at a butterfly flying near her face, and at the end, her boyfriend comes to pick her up and she throws him out of his truck and drives away with it. Definitely pick up this single if you are or even if you are not, but have been a fan of Emma Bunton.

Emma has out done herself with this song. Its really up beat and something everyone can get into. She also has her song Free Up Your Mind from the Pokemon movie which MelanieC is on. The Cd is also enhanced. It has the video of What Took You So Long on it. Which is very good and shows how pretty emma is. Also there are 2 exclusive pics on the enhanced cd that can be printed out on the printer. as usual Emma is looking very pretty.

What Took You So Long, Baby?,

Apart from Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, each Spice Girl member (either past or present) have ventured out on their own and released a solo single and album. Emma Bunton, who was known to the world as baby Spice, is gearing up for the release of her solo album "A Girl Like Me", and the first signle release, the mellow laid-back sound of "What Took You So Long?". Emma's solo track is a bit of a different sound, compared to the R&B direction of the Spice Girls' new album "Forever" and Melanie B's effort "Hot". Melanie C has taken a look at hard core rock (Goin' Down), weepy ballads (Northern Star and If That Were Me), dance (I Turn To You) and rap/R&B (Never Be The Same Again). Whilst Victoria's collaboration with UK dance DJ's Truesteppers, "Out Of Your Mind", was purely for the clubs, and former member Geri Halliwell went for all things pop, whether bubbly (Lift Me Up), disco (Bag It Up), latin (Mi Chico Latino) and motown (Look At Me). The guitar riddled pop of "What Took You So Long" is definitely a different and not obvious choice for a first single, but Emma's goregoeus voice blends together nicely for a sweet, Natalie Imbruglia-type pop track. Her album will also be a treat, with her working with Bryan Adams and hot R&B producer Rodney Jerkins (Who worked on the Forever album, as well as acts such as Jennifer Lopez, Toni Braxton, Backstreet Boys, Brandy and Joy Enriquez). A beautiful, easy going track that is a pleasant listening.

This single is GREAT!!!! 1."What Took You So Long"This song is Emma's second single in the album. Her first single "What I Am" was a song she did with Tin Tin Out.This song is not actually written by Emma nor Tin Tin Out. 2."(Hey You)Free Up You Mind"This song is not a new song. This song was on the Pok'emon The First Movie soundtrack!! 3."Merry Go Round"This song is actually the B-side to the single! This song is a catchy tune! 4."What Took You So Long"This is the video for the single "What Took You So Long"This is a fun video!!At the start of the video Emma's alone in a country-side place. She in the country-side for the whole vid.But at the end of the vid a guy (which is suppose to be her boyfriend in the video) came in a truck to pick Emma up.When Emma got in the truck she pushed the guy out of the truck and she drove away! 4.

Ever since the Forever flop, we were wondering was next to come from the Fab 4. Then out of the blue Emma comes and blows us away with her new single. She tells us that it took her to long to come back and that she has made a couple of changes. This is a good opener to her album. All I have to say is: GO EMMA, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!GET BUSY!
