Definitely a candidate for the all-time silliest of Dr. Seuss's books, What Was I Scared Of? is the extremely unscary tale of... a pair of empty pants! Just try to keep from giggling when reading this story aloud--we dare you. For starters, practice with "And there I was! / Caught in the Snide! / And in that dreadful place, / those spooky, empty pants and I were standing face to face!" The small size and sturdy cover make this tiny tome just right for tucking away in a bag for traveling or an evening out.
