I have seen the Light!,

The resurection of Rock n' Roll has just been located East of Autumn. I have not found a CD (from a new band) in the last ten years with more than 3 quality songs on it until now. The diversity of instruments used along with clever yet soulfull lyrics drew me in. But the energy and vibe that leaps off the disc keeps it in the CD player in my car. Why is this album not everywhere yet?

I bought this CD after being told about this band from a friend. I am a fan of Ryan Adams, Counting Crows and Bruce Springsteen, so this CD was not far from my tastes in music.Although at no time did I feel that this music was a direct cop of these other bands but a nice compliment of influences. This is good stuff, so I'm sure it will never be heard by the masses. And I've grow to appreciate this fact because it leaves good music untainted by popularity and over exposure. These guys are the real thing, at least on the CD. I've yet to see them live or heard any feedback form anyone who has, so it's all one can go by. I loved the vocals, musicianship and arrangements but above all I loved the lyrics. This is one of those bands that makes you realize just how much good music we are missing due to the Justin Timberlakes of the world, and the 12 year old's the music business are trying to reach.

This album is not only packed with lyrics that many of us can identify with, but it bears the mark of excellence that until now could only be found among such artists as Bob Dylan and The Band.

East of Autumn is one of the most talented bands today. Since the first time I listen to this CD, I knew this band was going to be big. This CD is worth every cent and is absolutely essential to any music lovers collection. Time spent listening to this CD will not be wasted. Get in on the ground floor of amazing rock!,

I have seen East of Autumn on a couple of occasions when in the Boston area, and I can't wait until they hit the Midwest. They rock out in a live show and the CD conveys this as best a CD can. The lead singer Chris writes thoughtful, strong lyrics and cranks out tunes that unfortunately get looked over for tinny, poppy tunes that are flooding the airwaves. Be the first on your block to listen to East of Autumn, and buy extra CDs and give them to your friends - they will thank you for it!

Fresh music you can finally listen to!,

A friend of mine in Boston told me about this band-comparing it to "Counting Crows"-only better. The music and lyrics are so fresh, nothing like the "junk-pop" that's getting churned out today. Some of the songs are pretty funny-these guys definately have a sense of humor. My favorite song, "You're a Peach" reminds me of some bars I've been in, and the track "Friends" with it's upbeat music and satirical undertones flashes back on one-too-many relationships gone bad. What is also different about this band is that the entire CD is listenable-I haven't found myself skipping around-this CD has a lot of personality. Hopefully the word gets out about this band. I would love to be able to turn on the radio and hear something new for a change. Buy this CD now, and...tell all your friends!

Finally getting the press they deserve,

I have seen this band live 3-4 times over the last 5 years. recently I understood they had a record deal, now the CD is finally here and I just LOVE it. They have a great lyric, that you can understand. The track Friends is by far the best on the whole CD, but they are all great. I plan on seeing them again soon in May, as it has been over a year since I saw them perform. It is just plain good music, good value and above all they love to play.
