About the Author
Diana Waring is a devoted wife and the mother of three teens who have all been homeschooled since birth. Diana holds a B.A. degree in French and has studied music and drama as well. Along with her busy home schedule, Diana has been a South Dakota Touring Artist, a featured speaker at dozens of homeschool venues, a popular radio show guest, and a regular homeschool columnist for "Best of the Christian Web." She is the author of several print and audio books on the subjects of history, humor, and homeschooling. Diana and her family reside in South Dakota.

I am so glad I found these tapes. Diana Waring gives an overview of the major players and events of history, from Creation to the French Revolution, and has shown how they are linked together. Diana tells of history from the Judeo-Christian perspective, which I so appreciate. Often a secular explanation of history leaves out key people, and explanations of events. I also appreciate that she put her information on audio tape, for I have listened to them over and over. I recommend this for anyone who wants to put the pieces of history into a flowing "story".

A very interesting history study. Diana Waring's enthusiasm makes learning fun. Our family listened to this tape series on vacation (a long car drive!). Even our 6-year-old was asking us to rewind and play back the "fun" parts. Highly recommended for any Christian family!

Her history manuals are excellent and we are planning to use them a 2nd time as we are studying history from Creation to the present. We did not like the audio portions, however. The recordings are classroom teacher-like. Her voice is not interesting to listen and is even annoying to the ears. I think the content is excellent but my children did not enjoy listening to her presentation.
