Okay, replacing the battery in this will be hard, but likely the novelty will have worn off. This is not a sound-card activated decision maker card, it only lights up. My lights are already fading a bit, but once had a very strong color. Maybe because I leave it on my desk and the night shift plays with it too much. The caricature is good, and it is a nice conversation piece, just don't expect too much from it.

It was intended to be a gag gift for my brother-in-law who didn't and won't vote for Mr. Obama. It fits the bill.

Gave this to our boss as a gag gift. Pulled the battery tab to let the card work, and nothing. Cut it open to find that there wasn't even a battery in it.

This electronic "'What Would Obama Do?' Decision Maker", is a great gift for ANYONE! In my opinion, those poor, sweet, sadly-deluded souls who STILL think Barak Obama is Totally on "their" side, have but to ask a question, push a button -- and leave the decision-making to our present "Fearless Leader", (well, even I must admit he Is fearless....but in doing the wrong things). No thinking needed on your part! No intelligence needed on your part! The serf's dream! (The Illuminati's dream, too!)
Of course, if you are like me, you will buy this "'What Would Obama Do?'Decision Maker" for a completely different reason. Ask your question. Then, (heh! heh!), do the exact OPPOSITE of what the decision maker says! : ) Of course, even using this -- or any electronic answering device -- needs caution. I have gone many times to a free "psychic" page, and asked my questions, (all having to be answered with either a "yes" or a "no".) Several times, I have gotten different answers to the same question! (So, double- or even quintuple-check your answers with this device, as well). However, I will give this free psychic page credit. I once asked it if psychics were always right. The same answer has come up several times: "No!" One has to be careful about this kind of "advice", in any case. I can't remember the title of the movie, but it was a relatively recent film. In it, a man was on a building ledge. The crowd down below was chanting: "Don't Jump! Don't Jump!". Since the guy was probably on the ledge because he was upset with some aspect of his life, and probably blaming it on others, the (vicious) crowd probably expected him to do just the OPPOSITE of their own advice. Don't remember the outcome in this movie -- (any knowledge of title and outcome in this movie would be very welcome) -- but the moral here is clear: Make Your Own, Independent, Carefully Thought-Out Decisions, Even If You Are Bent On NOT Taking Others' Advice. (Sometimes, your "enemies" may even be right....though probably for reasons different than your own.) In sum, this "What Would Obama Do?" Electronic Decision Maker is a nifty toy idea for anyone. Just remember to use it judiciously, whether you are an Obama-fan or.....not. The wonderfully, wittily-written TV teen-show, SWEET VALLEY HIGH, (for sale here on Amazon, and of which I have written a review...but, sadly, only the first season is presently on DVD), had this as one of its amazing lines: "I don't want to be politically correct. I want to think for myself." To which I add: "I don't want to be either politically-correct OR non-politically-correct. I want to think.....for myself!" Have fun with the "What Would Obama Do?" Decision-Maker. It could easily become a collector's item!

Totally sick what kinda of ignoramus would buy this "I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers to be feared. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. If we run into such debts, we must be taxed in our meat and drink, in our necessities and in our comforts, in our labor and in our amusements. If we can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people, under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy." Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson said, "If the America people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currencies, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their prosperity until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." In 1913, when the Federal Reserve was created with the duty of preserving the dollar, one 20-dollar bill could buy one 20-dollar gold piece. Today, fifty 20-dollar bills are needed to buy one 20-dollar gold piece. Under the Fed's custody, the U.S. dollar has lost 98 percent of its value. The dollar is the storehouse of our wealth. Has the Fed faithfully safeguarded that storehouse? Thomas Jefferson said, "In questions of power let us hear no more of trust in men, but bind them down from mischief with the chains of the Constitution."
