What It Does
There is honestly no doubt about Chrisette Michele. Her album Epiphany is honestly one of the better albums that've came out this year, over Jordin Sparks, Battlefield and many other records this year. Chrisete aims, and scores. 3.5 stars.
This is a solid R&B song that tells a man that it's not in only what you say but what you do. It sounds like Ne-Yo has background vocals all over it but it's not him. Not all songs with background vocals can you hear the unique vocal. I actually agree with some stuff Mr. Kerner said in his review. I just wouldn't score the song so high...

This is a solid R&B song that tells a man that it's not in only what you say but what you do.It sounds like Ne-Yo has background vocals all over it but it's not him. Not all songs with background vocals can you hear the unique vocal. I actually agree with some stuff Mr. Kerner said in his review. I just wouldn't score the song so high. It's a laid-back tune and I think you should check it out and see if it's worth your time. 3.5 stars.

There is honestly no doubt about Chrisette Michele. Her album Epiphany is honestly one of the better albums that've came out this year, over Jordin Sparks, Battlefield and many other records this year. After the strength of the title track as a single, it honestly was not a surprise that the next single would just as well. What You Do, the second single from the album is a simple and strong R&B song that definitely showcases Chrisette's down to Earth appeal that suits the album well, with a great sense of backing vocals from Ne-Yo that adds to the feeling of the song well. If you absolutely love this song, I definitely recommend you get Epiphany.Song: B+ |
