Good album, not as good as their Self Titled/Say No More album though. Still worth the purchase.

I recently drove 3 hours to see these guys in concert and most people question why... It was definately worth the total six hours of driving time (to get there and Back) Cuz these guys rock like crazy. I absolutly love they're unique sounds and passion for music. This CD is worth buying, you couldn't be supporting nicer guys. The guys in the band where very friendly and made me proud to say that i am a fan. When you listen to their music you know that they are full of talent and passion. For everyone who is questioning whether they should purchase the CD i would say go for it you wont be dissapointed.

House of Heroes is truly amazing. I've known the drummer, Colin, like my whole life and he is SO talented. No Tagbacks, their former band, is awesome too. I always listen to "Sara" on 10 Months (NoTagbacks) when I have a bad day and to me its just awesome that they have come so far since graduating... Everyone should go buy both cds, bc they kick.

I first saw these guys at a Jeff Buckley tribute show back a few years ago. To be quite honest these gusy are one of THE tightest bands I have ever heard or seen. They are almost more solid and tight live than they are on their album. One thing you can tell is that they are having fun. Most rock bands are often too serious which hinders their creative ability. These guys just play whatever they feel like playing and add elements into their music that is reminicent of garage bands, but they pull if off with tons of talent and class. Highly recommended album.

Best Rock CD in a Long Time,

I'm a little older guy with my music roots in rock. I can't stop listening to this album. It's the only one I keep going back to over and over again. Haven't gotten tired of it yet. The drummer is one of the best young guys around. He's creative, passionate and holds the band in some of the tightest and coolest grooves I've heard lately. It's not your typical cliche radio stuff either. I say, "Give it a listen and you'll see what I mean". Rock on HOH! Put it on the RADIO and share WHAT YOU WANT IS NOW with the world.

For fans of Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls, and Weezer, I present to you House of Hero's debut CD. I loved this CD from the first listen. Strong guitar riffs and solid drums and bass lines give these guys a solid debut. If radio gets a hold of this CD it will simply explode on the airwaves. Songs such as "Mercedes Baby" and "Honesty" show the range of vocal harmony and crunching guitars this band has the capability of using. Highly recommended!

I just saw House of Heroes live for the first time this week. They were great. I was so impressed by them that I went to the ATM, got some cash, and bought their CD. You'll love it if you're into emo. I think their sound is kinda progressive emo....if you catch my drift. A breathe of fresh air.

The band once known as 'No Tagbacks' is now the House of Heroes. They kinda sound similar to their old band, but they are different in alot of ways too. Buy it if you got extra cash, but I reccomend No Tagbacks ~ Ten Months.

amazing blend of lyrics and music. music reflects the lyrics. the angst and beauty of love is well represented. you can feel the words through the guitar riffs. the bass and the strings on Uncomfortable are incredible. the frenetic obsession of Katie Baby tingles your skin. the beauty of Julia carries you away.

Great songs...,

The CD is great. Well, all but the two tracks I can't listen to. For some reason, both the CD I got originally and the replacement have got some terrible issues with the last two tracks - it sounds like they're skipping and distorting something awful, but there's no reason for it, aside from corruption of the image. Will try again, though.
Awesome music. HoH is awesome! |
