5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful music, April 8, 2000
This review is from: What You'd Call a Dream (Audio CD)
Jaymie Meyer is a new discovery for me and I'm very glad to have found her. The beauty and clarity of her voice rivals that of any singer today. The laid back casual arrangements allow her voice to shine! This is true "easy listening" that immediately puts you in a good mood. I am looking forward to many future recordings from Ms. Meyer. This CD should be in the collection of anyone who likes smooth "cabaret style" music!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Cabaret Lovers Dream Come True, April 6, 2000
This review is from: What You'd Call a Dream (Audio CD)
From the moment I read the song titles, I new that this CD had the potential to be a special gift. What You'd Call a Dream is the perfect title for this CD, it is surely a dream come true. Ms. Meyer's rich lush voice is so pleasing to the ear that since receiving it nearly 2 weeks ago, I just can't seem to stop listening to it. Turn the lights down low, cuddle in close to your favorite buddy and let Ms. Meyer take you along on a beautifully romantic ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best CD of the year., April 3, 2000
This review is from: What You'd Call a Dream (Audio CD)
For choice of interesting and fresh song material, for dramatic insight into those songs, for humor as well as sensitivity, and for a vocal instrument, Jaymie Meyer is way out there. Singing songs that a Billie Holiday might have chosen or a female Sinatra. Starting with "The Friendliest Thing Two People Can Do" on down the list of superior song material, this artist (for that is what Ms. Meyer is) distinguishes herself throughout. IfAmazon.com offered a 6 star rating, I would have accorded her that.
