I came across this book while looking at similar books. Of course, the title captured my attention, so I HAD to click on the link! What I absorbed from the book was that it really addresses some important questions and concerns that women have and may be too embarrassed to ask their own physician. Dr. Raj is very skilled at writing to the lay person. The language is easy to understand and even the technical medical terms are well explained. Because of this, I didn't feel confused reading some medical jargon that I don't come across every day.

The book has a light touch of humor. I often found myself smiling and nodding when I related to something that I had once questioned before and then learning the answer. This makes the book very easy to read, and I wanted to read the whole thing in one sitting!

In summary, I highly recommend Dr. Raj's new book. I look forward to reading more books written by her.

I love this book. It's like a reference book that doubles as entertainment. The design is adorable and the questions are sometimes shocking and hilarious but always informative. I loved it! Buying one for my mom!

Even though it doesn't contain all the questions most of us are too embarrassed to google, let alone ask our family doctor, ob/gyn, or even mother (younger girls), plenty of answers can be found between these hot pink covers.

I got this book after seeing the magazine feature in Health magazine. It was one of "those" questions, the kind you see always submitted by Anonymous. I liked how the answer was presented in a humorous and approachable way. It can be off-putting when trying to ask these same questions to your doctor (after finally working up the courage) and have them sigh and look at you like they cannot believe you are asking said question. Some of the questions and answers were pretty common/obvious, but most are about things you may have wondered about, but never thought to ask.

Some people might not like the tone of this book, and I think that comes from it being written in a style to appeal to younger girls. I enjoyed it for the information presented, and didn't really mind the girl-talk, conversational tone of the writing. If this book is being purchased for younger girls, the presentation is perfect. No answers are overly graphic, dramatic or overwhelmed with medical jargon. What the Yuck is easy to read, lighthearted "edu-tainment." If anything, this book will lead to more in-depth questions/discussion as to how something might apply personally to the reader.

This is really a GREAT book I recommend it to every girl. young girls 12 to 19 need this so they will get answers to all the questions they can not ask their Mom or Teacher and the other girls make up answers. Every young ladies needs this book for answers they do not want to ask their Doctor. This needs to go out to young Mother's to help them understand their body. To the older ladies we need this book for our grand-daughters to pick up and read and to remind us of why we sometimes get a urine infection or what is a simple answer to something that happened. GREAT BOOK Worth the money

I bought this book because it was popular and certainly had an interesting title! I thought there might be some information in it that would be helpful and there was. At times it's humorous and entertaining as well.

This book is easy to read with answers to questions regarding womens' health and bodies. I don't have a problem asking doctors questions and now I won't have to because it seems as though everything I would need to ask is answered here. This is a book to keep and use as a future reference.
