Anyone who's seen the original TV broadcast version of Trading Places will remember the deleted scene of Paul Gleason drugging the security guard while Sunset Boulevard is playing on television in the background. Paramount was kind enough to include this deleted scene as a bonus feature on the "Looking Good, Feeling Good" edition.
But there was another deleted scene from the original TV broadcast that was not included. When Eddie Murphy first goes to work, he walks in the building on the main floor and is greeted by Folsey, who takes his coat, scarf, etc, and then Eddie proceeds to walk toward the elevator while everyone says "Good Morning, Mr. Valentine." In the theatrical cut, Murphy walks in the building and then the film cuts to him coming out of the elevator on the upper floor where the Duke brothers are waiting for him.
Obviously this deleted scene mirrored the earlier scene in the film where Dan Aykroyd did the exact same thing, only with Murphy responding much differently, so it was probably cut for pacing purposes. But it's still a pretty funny scene, nonetheless, and I had hoped it would also be included on this DVD, but it's been forgotten. I hope it shows up again in the future on a later edition.
