Great insights for future home churchers, February 9, 2006
This review is from: What about church?: Guidelines for fellowship for the home schooling family and the home church alternative
We have been home churching as a family for a few years. We left modern church of many different denominations in search of the truth. We have found the truth in the safety of our own home, a King James bible, and Jesus Christ alone. We have been meeting with different families for home church for a short time, and have been rather confused as to how to go about certain situations. We started off on the wrong foot, and this book would have been a big help had we read it first!
The book goes into topics such as differences between church and fellowship. The roles of men, women, and children in church. How to organize the teaching, music, and ministries. Doctrinal differences, and when you know it is time to leave. This is a handy book to have if you are planning on home churching, or already do. We higly reccomend this book.
