What is the warranty on these binoculars

It's kind of an interesting warranty. The binoculars are covered for life, but to have them repaired or replaced is $19.95 to cover "handling and return shipping." That's the bad. The good is that they are covered even if the damage is your fault, such as dropping them out of a tree stand or the nosebleed section at the ball park. Pentax will repair or replace it to the original owner at their option even if damaged by fault for a charge of $19.95 to cover handling and return shipping. Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, theft or loss.
