What if you have two iPods and one iTunes? I am considering buying the Nano 5th Gen for my husband for his birthday. I own an old iPod Classic. We have both been using this up to now. So if I plug his new iPod into my iMac, what will iTunes do? Will it recognize this as a different iPod and we will be able to manage music on both? Or will he need his own iTunes to manage his music?

You can indeed add the Nano to your existing Itunes account. It will recognize it as a new Ipod and you just have to answer a few set up questions and you will be good to go.

Yeah, there's no worries about that at all. You can have as many iPods as you want with one iTunes. It's when you use a single iPod with multiple iTunes that you get problems.
