For those of you who are interested in this book, but can't seem to find any solid descriptions of WHAT it is actually about, this is a marvelous little book. I haven't finished reading it just yet, but what I have, it is solid Biblically and morally. I was a bit worried that I would find a feminist agenda, but when it's said to portray "women's rights" it is in the best sense of mutal respect and equality under the Creator who made both male and female to bring Him glory and show forth His character. Nethither being more important or superior to the other, but equals in Christ.
Being written by a doctor, it has very practical ideas on how a woman should care for her body, so as not to damage herself (such as corsets :-). But most everything on that topic is still very practical for our day of tight clothing of a different sort.
I would highly recommend this little book and I hope to obtain the rest in the series one day as compliments.
