lovely and talented and what a musical find,
This review is from: Whatever Happened to Romance? (Audio CD)
I am very impressed. I had heard about Victoria Hart's performance at the Ocean 13's Cannes film festival party, and that all the big star guests were bowled over by this very young woman's talent. In addition to singing she co-wrote many of the songs. All I can say is her smooth lyrical voice, with her clever, modern day girl lyrics, plus that big band sound is intoxicating. I cant believe she isnt 20 years old yet. I love the title song but all her songs are lovely to listen to, she has the kind of vocal quality that pulls you in and makes you feel good.

This teenager has got it!! She has talent to burn and she has that extra something special that all the greats have: style and charisma!!! It also doesn't hurt that the songs are fresh and fun. Jazz and swing with modern lyrics mixed with light pop makes for an engaging and infectuous affair. Not to mention addictive! I listen to this CD everyday and I can't get enough. I want more!!! Want?? No!! I NEED more!!!!

Superb Debut For Jazz Songstress Hart,

"Whatever Happened to Romance" is the spectacular first record from Victoria Hart, whose debut was heralded with lots of press.
That's due to the fact that she was a singing waitress at a restaurant in London, where she was discovered. This record is the result and if this is any indication, she has quite a career ahead of her. The title track, "Wonderful," "Chocolates and Strwaberries," "Port In A Storm, "Not My Fault," and others demonstrate a sweet, carefree voice that can make any song her own.
