If you are reading this review then you already know about Jennifer. She is an excellent player who has toured with the likes of Jeff Beck. I find her music to have somewhat of a Jeff Beck influence added to some just plain whackiness. The music is good, well constructed, played very well and she also has a sense of humor that is a nice mix into the music. All in all a very worthwhile disc from a guitar virtuoso.

I have just received Jennifer Batten's "Whatever" CD/DVD and it is amazing with layered sonic textures that seem to unravel as you repeatedly listen to it ( Car especially ! ).

It also confirms that the transformation from Guitar Gun-for Hire is over as this work stands on it's own and all guitarist's should listen up! as she is now a guitarist on par with the other "JB" , and I can only hope that the possibility of a " JB Squared " album will one day eventuate.
