The Whatman Puradisc FP30, 10462206, non-sterile, 0.2µm syringe filter with female Luer lock inlet, and male Luer lock outlet connections, has a cellulose acetate (CA) filtration membrane, and pigment-free polycarbonate housing. This syringe filter is used for environmental sample filtration, prior to chemical oxygen demand (COD) and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) analysis. Membranes used in these filters are prewashed prior to assembly, for reduced organic carbon levels. The device has a tube tip outlet for dispensing accurately into a micro-vial, eliminating air lock. It is heat-sealed without glues or sealants.
