Well written and an easy read on an important topic. This book is an excellent resource for youth and youth leaders and parents. It deals with the issue head-on, explaining why pornography is a problem and how it affects individuals, and what can be done to address the problem. The 12 suggestions for parents are particularly helpful.

This book is a great read. It is easy and fast and yet filled with the knowledge we all need to fight the war on porn. It covers everything from defining porn, what to do if you come across it by accident or if you can't stop searching for it. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Jill Manning is awesome. Her book will help parents teach healthy intimacy to their children. Gone are the days of having "the talk" about sex with your kids. The world is constantly bombarding your kids with the worlds view of sex. The world uses sex to sell everything. The world tells our kids there is nothing wrong with pornography that it can spice up a marraige. The truth about pornography isn't taught much in homes, and many of our youth are falling by the way because of pornography. This book helps you relate to your children better and teaches healthy intimacy. I wish I had this book when my children were younger.

I have recommended this book to all my family members who have children at home. It is a great guide for discussion on this topic. The author gives a more thorough plan for what to do when exposed to porn than the usual "just turn off the computer". She points out the lies that porn is based on, and what the healthy truth is.

This book provided a straight forward and clear assessment of a challenging topic. I work with many youth and found this to be a one of a kind resource - there is not much out there that tackles this issue for teens or young adults (without being inappropriate that is). I would highly recommend it to anyone who is needing a good understanding of this issue or who works with youth or has teens in the home.

his book was excellent. I bought it because someone I love and care about has an addiction to pornography. It helped me understand the situation without exposing me to all sorts of dirty images or ideas. It gets right to the point and it offers hope to people who may be struggling with this problem. It has given me some good ideas about how to help my loved one and I am hopeful that after the read it they will have a great desire to change and more hope that they can successfully kick this habit.

I was grateful for how this book gave me talking points and ideas for discussing this issue with my teenage children.

Morality is one thing, bigotism is another. I understand the good intention of the author and I fully share her point of view, but she's not able, somehow, to fascinate the reader with a subject that is much more complex than she assumes. It's an out-of-the-time-machine Victorian reading trapped into the web's fly strip.
