Bohdan's book covers mammal pests and snakes as well as bugs. He advocates a healthy, live-and-let-live approach, where practical. He gives the reader choices of traditional chemicals, live traps, and environmentally-friendly solutions. He not only identifies pests but points out their benefits as well as detriments. The book is honest, funny and enjoyable, even if your home is not a cockroach haven.

I saw the author on the weekend Today show and decided to check out his book. Although I only have minimal problems with pests and such, I still enjoyed the book a lot. Bohdan is really very funny, and often drops in a joke that sneaks up on you with a laugh. Plus, he even reviews bug movies! As far as the pest-control stuff, it sounded pretty authentic to me, but you'd have to see for yourself when you try the techniques on your household pests. He is a professional exterminator, though, so you'd think he knows what he's talking about.

I have been associated with Michael Bohdan, both socially and professionally, for over 15 years, and am gratified to see him share his vast pest control knowledge and experiences through this book. What's Buggin' You is not only fun to read, it is remarkably informative and technically superb. Every homeowner should have this book handy whenever pest problems appear.
