Read aloud: age 3 and older. Read yourself: age 7 - 8. Little Pip used to sleep under her mama's soft, warm belly. Now, there was no room for her ever since the Egg had arrived. Mama and Papa were very excited about the Egg, and told Pip that they must be very careful to protect the Egg from cold; soon a sister or brother would arrive and make their family "just right."
