Now that i've listened to the cd numerous times i still can't pick out just 1 favorite.....Roth has totally rejuvinated the old style guitar playing that made Eddie so Awesome!!!!!! My personal favorites are Beats Workin', Big River, China Town, Outta Space, She's The Woman, You and Your Blues, and the more i listen to Tattoo, the better that song gets.....It's the best VH single since JUMP!!!! Tattoo has great riffs and the chorus is fun to sing along with!!!!!!!

Blood and Fire with Big River a very close second. Love the whole album, but those are my favorites.

You and Your Blues, at the moment anyway.
This new Van Halen is way better than I thought it would be.

I'm into "You and Your Blues", the Riff reminds me of Warrant's "Mr. Rainmaker", AWESOME!

Gunslinger says:
Although not the popular pick my favorite is "honeybabysweetiedoll"...has a Outta Love Again feel to it and I love the heaviness!!

Right up there with it is Bullethead, Outta Space, Stay Frosty and Big River.

Totally agree Gunslinger. Love honeybabysweetiedoll, and really dig Stay Frosty. Like the whole album, but those two I keep going back to.

China Town and Blood and Fire. Very different songs that represent a good sampling of the breadth of this album's surprising greatness!

if i had to choose one, it would be As Is, I love that this one starts out with Alex's monster drumming.

My faves are in pairs in the tracklist... 'As Is' and 'Honeysweetiebabydoll', then, 'Big River' and 'Beats Workin'. Such great back to back jams that it's almost ridiculous! \m/

"As Is" and "China Town" are the best recorded representations of Van halen on this album. "Blood And Fire" is good too.

As is. It's the closet song on the album to vintage VH. Some songs sound like DLR solo songs, even with EVH sounding like Vai, some sound Diver Downish, which is cool, but As Is sounds like 70s VH. I appreciate this album because it really should have never happened. We are very lucky to have it come out.

At the moment I'll go with Stay frosty......it's the one that had me smiling the most (and for me is the one track that mostly captures the fun and good humour that got me hooked on VH in the first place......mostly).
