This review is from: What's in a Letter?: The Complete Handwritting Analysis Kit (Past & Present) (Misc. Supplies)
What's In a Letter? is a boxed set containing everything you need to learn about and get started in handwriting analysis. The kit contains a 96-page hardcover book, which does a nice job getting right to the point. It explains how to examine a handwriting sample, what individual letters mean (loops, strokes, shapes, etc.), and resources one can tap for further study. You also get a small tablet, handwriting analysis tool (which helps you gauge the slant of one's handwriting), envelopes and note cards.

Presumably you would send the notecards in an envelope to someone you know, which might prompt them to write back with a writing sample for you to analyze.

The process itself can be lots of fun and actually very insightful. My only complaint is that it only analyzes what is known as cursive handwriting. Some people, myself included, only sign their names that way, but don't use cursive for actual writing. In that case, only the signature can be analyzed.

Overall, this is a nice set and a great way to learn a bit about graphology.
