The book did the trick for our initial diagnosis of allergies and continues to help us out when our cat has an issue. The charts are great and this book is worht the money.

This is an excellent book for the cat owner who is not sure what to do with signs and symptoms of their cat. Each sign or symptom has an algorithm with little "yes" or "no" arrows to follow till you reach a probable diagnosis and plan. It also includes Kitty CPR. I wish I had known this book existed before, as I would have bought it for my sister before her cat got sick and died.

When we cats are sick, we don't like to talk about it. Hiding our vulnerabilities was a good thing when we were in the wild, or for ferals who must fight to survive, but more often than not, the subtle changes in our behavior will baffle the humans we live with. This little book, with its crystal-clear flow charts goes a long way to help humans pinpoint the problem when something "seems wrong," and tells when a first aid remedy will do, or when a trip to the vet is necessary. Believe me, we kitties wish we could be healthy forever, but we do become ill occasionally, and owning this book will be of infinite help to suss out the problem, and explain how to deal with it. It should be in every cat-run home.
