John has been around the block. Read the bio on his website and you'll know he passes the test of Ringo Starr: "You gotta pay the dues if you wanna sing the blues, and you know it don't come easy." With a refined guitar and raw voice reminiscent of Billy Gibbons from ZZTop, John impresses with fresh energy and true bluesmanship. What stands him apart is his Christian perspective, calling upon the Lord through the angst of this old form. He puts God back into a genre that sprang from spiritual roots, managing through superb artistry to avoid a religious tone.
