4.0 out of 5 stars Nice New features
This new 2007 Deluxe version of Wheel of Fortune is identical to the downloadable versions now available on MSN and Yahoo Games. That isn't a bad thing, mind you... its just the same. There's no annoying video clips of Vanna White to slow you down, and it is extensive in the stat keeping department as well. Moves along fast, and the Puzzle a Day is a really nice bonus...

3.0 out of 5 stars A little dissappointed!
I was somewhat disappointed with the product. I was expecting Vanna White and Pat Sajak to be included in the video as with the earlier versions...

This is a great game. I love that you can win trophies and play in different cities. This game is well worth what I paid for it. I think if you like Wheel of Fortune, you will love this game.

This is a must for anyone who enjoys playing along at home when watching Wheel Of Fortune on television. The graphics are great and there are many different playing options.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but the wheel spins forever...., December 28, 2007

this game is good overall, but it takes a ridiculously long time to play because the wheel spins for what seems like an exaggeratedly long time...you do get to create your character and play 3, 5, or 7 city tours. also, you can play a puzzle of the day and earn trophies for your accomplishments...really fun if you love wheel of fortune and have the patience to wait for the wheel :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Great PC game, February 13, 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wheel Of Fortune Deluxe [Old Version] (CD-ROM)
Wheel Of Fortune Deluxe. It's certainly a lot better than Jeopardy! Deluxe and Jeopardy. Those PC games ware ruined by making the responses multiple choice. But there is a downside : The 2,000 puzzles. Although that is a lot of puzzles, for me it's not enough becuase I am constantly getting the same puzzles again and again. And not just that, The computer opponents are difficult to defeat. They have difficulty setting but that doesn't do much. They are Still difficult to defeat on the "EASY" setting. Other than that, This is a grat Wheel Of Fortune Game. Now, if only a Nintendo DS or Wii version would be released.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Word Puzzle Game, September 17, 2007

I'm probably one of the few people who love this game, but don't watch it on TV. Fun features are the animated players and customizable appearance, road trip, and puzzle of the day. The animation is good, but I would like to see more options for the appearance. You can play alone or against the computer with group play. There's an extensive achievements section that keeps tracks of high scores in all of the different game modes and your personal trophies. You can win up to 36 different trophies, starting with your very first finished game. This is a great game for anyone who enjoys solving word puzzles, whether you're a game show fan, or not.

2.0 out of 5 stars Slow, few options, still entertaining, November 26, 2007
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wheel Of Fortune Deluxe [Old Version] (CD-ROM)
I recently bought a new laptop with Windows Vista, but had no compatible games, so I bought Wheel of Fortune. To be honest, I'm not sure they tested this game too well with Vista -- it occasionally shuts down mid-game, and will almost NEVER close properly -- try to exit the game, and 90& of the time it is "Not Responding" for at least 3 to 4 minutes before finally closing down...very annoying, as it takes up every bit of the 1G of RAM I have to run, and makes it almost impossible to do anything else on the computer until the game finally decides to close itself. Possibly if you have 2G of RAM, this will function more smoothly for you.

There are few options -- you can't play with more than one player (you can play alone, or against 2 computer opponents). There are very few options after that. One annoying feature is the super-short amount if time is gives you in the bonus round to type in the rest of the answer...not NEARLY long enough if you've got a longer puzzle.

That being said, I am still highly addicted to this game! But I sure wish it performed better, because it runs very poorly. The older version is MUCH, MUCH better if you've got an XP platform.

Pretty much just like the tv show, so you know what you're getting.
You can play 1-3 human players, with computer players to round out the three spots as needed (so 1 person can play "solo" or against two computer oponents)

The only flaw is that the computer is pretty dumb even on "medium" setting.
