Robert Jordan's book The Eye of the World lays a solid groudwork for his Wheel of Time series. While the title itself is difficult for the first hundred or less pages, this is simply in that a history must be created for the wheel of time to work. The title picks up in action content and the ending is good. It is a good beginning for a great Fantasy series.
