Premiering in 1975,
Wheel of Fortune spun into fame as one of the world's most popular TV game shows. Parker Brothers' home version of the game is just as much fun--and just as mesmerizing as its TV counterpart. With minimal assembly, you have your own 9-by-10-inch plastic standup puzzle board with sliding doors that open and close, and a 4-inch wheel (complete with prize inserts) that spins every bit as capriciously as the one on TV. A batch of numbered paper puzzle cards slips into the puzzle board, their phrases hidden behind the doors. The game lasts several rounds, with the "banker" passing out faux cash for correct guesses; the first player to reach $10,000 in total cash and prizes wins the game. With 96 challenging puzzles covering everything from pepperoni pizza to Mount Rushmore, you won't find yourself lacking for entertainment.
