Finally a book on the fundamentals of wheelchair design!
This is the first time I see a book of that caliber on wheelchair design. Not for the math timid, but a must have for the chair designer at any of the big houses, or for your physics inspired tinkerer. People might just learn physics on this specific type of vehicle.

Not useful as a quick resource
The author of this book really knows his material! Unfortunately, this book seems a little too wordy for a reference guide. I am a Physical Therapist who works in nursing homes and I was unable to use this book as a easy resource when working with my patients. The author of this book really knows his material! Unfortunately, this book seems a little too wordy for a reference guide. I am a Physical Therapist who works in nursing homes and I was unable to use this book as a easy resource when working with my patients. It reads almost like a textbook for a college class on wheelchairs. If you are a O.T. or P.T. looking for a quick reference guide for patient solutions I would suggest looking elsewhere.
