My son loves the Battle Force 5 but Mattel must believe it is called the Battle Force 4 when it comes to the toy production. The Tangler happens to be my son's favorite character and I have been looking since his birthday in June to find it. The toys in this set retail from $9.99 to $12.99 and I have been able to find all of them at Target, Toy R Us, or Mattel.com, except of course the Tangler. Which has lead to resellers asking from $40, $50, to even $100 for the toy which is probably the most poorly made of the whole set of 8 cars.

I tried e-bay but the lowest price I could find was $40 before shipping and I am sorry I can not pay 400%+ mark up for a toy. I was fortunate to have a friend in another state locate this toy at Target for retail price $9.99 and I am getting it shipped to me. My son is going to be very excited to finally get his Tangler. I would have paid $30 from a reseller because it is hard to find, but this excessive mark up is ridiculous. I hope no one pays these outrageous prices, if I had not had a friend find it in Texas, my son would just had to continue waiting until it became available because I called Mattel and was told it was still in production.

Am I disappointed in Amazon? Am I disappointed with SocialDistribution? This toy is on a different scale from all the other Battle Force 5 toys I ordered through Amazon. I am thoroughly disappointed that for so much more money for this particular toy it is on a much much smaller scale than all the other toys. I feel like I've been "baited and switched."

I'm really disgusted by the whole thing. So disappointed for my boy, too, since like so many others this is his favorite character. Boo! >:(

My son loves battleforce five. I have ordered all of the toys and he loves them. Got him the new one out for Easter. Can't wait to see his face. He is a rough player and they have been very durable.
