4.0 out of 5 stars Fun but an adult's help is needed
We got this from a discount shop, and I'm glad we did. It's fun but not worth a ton of money. Typical hot wheels drop track, you need to make sure the drop is 30" or so, or else it doesn't work. You'll need an adult (with good eyes) to put it together and to help kids figure out how to drop it through the track. We don't wind the motor to make it more difficult, but I...

1.0 out of 5 stars Can't believe I paid money for this!
I bought this for my son for Christmas. We were so excited to put this together to start playing...What a waste of money and time to put it together. The car did not even fit on the track. Trying to stabilize the car to stay on the track to make it to the loop is impossible. We are very disappointed. I would not recommend this to anyone.

You'll need an adult (with good eyes) to put it together and to help kids figure out how to drop it through the track. We don't wind the motor to make it more difficult, but I like having the option to increase difficulty once son figures out the right car/speed combo. He tries each of his multitude of hot wheels cars on the track, and that gives us a chance to talk about how the longer, lighter cars do better on the loop than the heavier taller cars. Beginning physics, for a five year old. Overall, he loves it because he loves the show and he loves getting the "battle key" when he's able to get the car through the track properly.

I bought this for my daughter last year. the track is completely flimsy and it was more effort keeping the drop straight than the joy the kids got out of it. i chucked it in the trash after 3 months.
