Hot Wheels Elite Batman Begins Batmobile

First off, this is not a toy.
It is an adult collectors item not ment for play.
Adverttised is the Limited Edition Hot Wheels Elite version of The Tumbler.
There image that represents this car is not the Elite version.
The Vender and customer images shown are of the NON-elite version which is heavily highlighted in gold.
That one can be bought for around $45
If you are a collector you will want the Elite.
The costs are double the standard version.
The differences are subtle but numerous and make the Elite version the one to own of the two.
The standard version is very nice, but when compared side by side to the Elite the differances are obvious.
The level of detail on the Elite version which is produced in limited amounts of under 5000 is amazing.
The box it comes in makes a excellent dust barrier and illustrated display case.
The Hot Wheels 1:18 Elite reproduction of Batman's Tumbler is well worth the money.
Know your cars, or you will get fooled.
Notice the door medalians, on the Elite they are real on the standard version they are painted in.
The paint jobs are different also.
The Elite has a flat black paint job.
The Standard version has a gloss black paint job.
Another difference you can see in the Elite is shape of the windshields and the addition of wiper blades.
There is so much more which makes the Elite will worth the price.
The cars pictured in this ad is not the elite.
It is the standard version selling for $40 to $50.

The child in me made me buy this toy. Wish it had come out 40 years ago because I would have an absolute blast with it. Now it's just an ornament on my desk and a fitting tribute to Heath Ledger's superlative performance of a villain extraordinaire in The Dark Knight. Nice display piece though.

The batmobile looks sturdy, will be given to a collector and not used as a toy. He'll be thrilled.
