Save your money the 27mhz range is less than 2ft. It's unreliable even with fresh batteries all around. Also tested with Eneloops and the same result. I know it's a product for kids and not a Spektrum Powered Traxxas Rustler VXL but even then it should at least run around the house and be able to go backwards without having to walk in front of it.

If you want an inexpensive remote control truck, this is the one.
Battery life is not to long, but my husband has a few $300 trucks and the battery life is the same all around. Just buy an extra battery because that's something you'll have to live with.
This is great for kids starting out in the remote control hobby area.
